The OmniConverter is copper-to-fiber media and power injector that supports both the IEEE 802.3af PoE standard (15.4W of power) and the new IEEE 802.3at PoE+ standard (25.5W of power). OmniConverter media converters can provide power to one or two Powered Devices (PDs) using standard UTP cables that carry the Ethernet data.

10/100/1000 Media Converter with Power over Ethernet (PoE)

The OmniConverter GPoE/SE is a compact and cost-effective media converter that provides 100BASE-FX or 1000BASE-X fiber to 10/100/1000BASE-T UTP conversion and injects Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) through the RJ-45 port. Port configurations include single or dual UTP ports.

The OmniConverter GHPoEBT/S is a multi-port Hign-Power PoE Ethernet media converters that feature one or two fiber ports and one or two 10/100/000 RJ-45 copper Power-over-Ethernet ports.

The GHPoEBT/S is an IEEE 802.3bt media converter featuring 60 and 100 watts per RJ-45 port. The GHPoEBT/S are ideal for outdoor PTZ (pan-tilt-zoom) cameras with heaters and blowers, multi-stream wireless access points and small cells installations. All OmniConverter models support frame sizes up to 10,240 bytes.
 

The OmniConverter 10GPoE+/S and 10GPoEBT/S are unmanaged 10G Ethernet media converters featuring one 1/10G SFP/SFP+ uplink port and one or two multi-gigabit/multi-rate RJ-45 Power-over-Ethernet user ports. They support PoE, PoE+ and PoE++ up to 100 watts depending on the model.

The OmniConverter FPoE/SL, FPoE/S and FPoE+/S are multi-port PoE/PoE+ Ethernet media converters that feature one or two fiber ports and one or two 10/100 RJ-45 copper Power-over-Ethernet ports.

The OmniConverter FPoE/SL is a cost-effective media converter that provides up to 15.40W PoE (IEEE 802.3af) per RJ-45 port and supports frame sizes up to 2,000 bytes.
 

The 1U 19" Rack-Mount Shelf accommodates up to three OmniConverter media converters.

Products are secured to the shelf with easy-to-use snap-rivets - no special tooling is required. The shelf provides multiple grounding points, as well as convenient locations for cable ties to organize and secure all fiber and copper cabling.
