iConverter XM5 - Aggregation Demarcation Device

The iConverter® XM5 Aggregation Demarcation Device provides aggregation and demarcation for Carrier Ethernet 2.0 services. The XM5 Aggregation Demarcation Device supports the latest carrier-class Ethernet Service OAM, testing and protection standards.

These advanced capabilities enable rapid service deployments, Service Level Agreement (SLA) assurances, comprehensive fault management and service protection to reduce operating costs and improve customer satisfaction.

The XM5 Aggregation Demarcation Device features two 10G SFP/SFP+ or XFP ports, twelve Gigabit/Fast Ethernet SFP ports, and two 10/100/1000 RJ-45 ports for aggregation of wholesale Ethernet, 4G/LTE mobile backhaul, business and cloud services.

iConverter GM3 NIDs

Der iConverter GM3 ist ein flexibles und kostengünstiges Netzschnittstellengerät (NID). Der GM3 kann als Transport-NID oder Dienst-NID betrieben werden, um interne und externe Ethernet-Dienstprogramme voneinander abzugrenzen.

iConverter GM4 NIDs

The iConverter GM4 NIDs support all the GM3 NID features and add Carrier Ethernet 2.0 Certified Compliance, service testing verification and service protection.

 

The GM4 supports and ITU-T Y.1564 Service Activation Testing and RFC 2544 throughput testing for rapid service activation and SLA validation. The GM4 also supports link protection with Rapid Spanning Tree, and service protection with ITU-T G.8031 Ethernet Linear Protection Switching and ITU-T G.8032v2 Ethernet Ring Protection Switching with sub- 50 millisecond failover.

iConverter GM4 NIDs are available in 2, 3 and 5-port models. The iConverter 5-Port GM4 features 10/100/1000 RJ-45 copper ports and 100M/1000Mbps SFP fiber ports to provide service demarcation ports for multiple applications and customers. These flexible multi-port configurations enable G.8032v2 multi-ring protection with sub-ring support.

iConverter GM4 PoE Network

The iConverter GM4 PoE Network Interface Devices (NID) deliver advanced Carrier Ethernet 2.0 services and provide integrated Power over Ethernet (PoE) at the demarcation.

GM4 PoE NIDs function as PoE Power Sourcing Equipment in small cell (metro cell) and Wi-Fi applications, where the radio equipment can be powered through the Ethernet UTP cables.

By integrating Carrier Ethernet demarcation and PoE functions into a single device, Service Providers can easily deploy Wi-Fi hot spots and small cells almost anywhere, reduce equipment costs and overall power consumption. This integrated PoE NID speeds time to market and reduces technical risks.

iConverter SFP-NID

The iConverter SFP-NID is a Small Form Pluggable (SFP) Gigabit Network Interface Device (NID).

It enables Service Providers to deliver low-latency, SLA-guaranteed Business Ethernet, 4G/LTE macro cell and metro/small cell backhaul services. The SFP-NID can be installed directly into a switch, router or small cell, and saves Capital Expenditures (CAPEX) by eliminating the need for a standalone demarcation device. It also reduces Operating Expenditures (OPEX) by decreasing power consumption, space, installation and maintenance costs.

iConverter micro NID

The iConverter microNID is a low-latency, compact and cost-effective Network Interface Device (NID) that provides service activation testing, fault and performance monitoring.

The two-port microNID enables the delivery of service-assured Business Ethernet, 4G/LTE macro cell and metro/ small cell backhaul services.

The microNID enables Service Providers to deliver premium services with Service Level Agreements where cost, space and power consumption are constraints. Cable MSOs can deliver value-added commercial Ethernet services and wireless backhaul over their existing DOCSIS networks with guaranteed Quality of Service.

iConverter GXTM2

The iConverter GXTM2 is a carrier-grade Network Interface Device (NID) that provides 10/100/1000 copper to Gigabit Ethernet fiber media conversion with integrated management.

For Service Providers, the GXTM2 NID provides MEF 9, 14 and 21 certified demarcation of Carrier Ethernet E-Line services.

For Enterprise and Government and Utility networks, the GXTM2 enables secure demarcation and management for mission-critical applications delivered over fiber infrastructure.

The integrated management eliminates the cost and space required for external management hardware. The integrated management provides comprehensive remote configuration and performance monitoring.

iConverter GM4-PoE NIDs

The iConverter GM4-PoE Network Interface Devices (NID) deliver advanced Carrier Ethernet 2.0 services and provide integrated Power over Ethernet (PoE) at the demarcation.

 

GM4-PoE NIDs function as PoE Power Sourcing Equipment in small cell (metro cell) and WiFi applications, where the radio equipment can be powered through the Ethernet UTP cables.

The GM4-PoE NIDs are available in two PoE power levels. GM4-PoE+ models support 802.3af PoE (15.4W) and 802.3at PoE+ (25.5W) on each RJ-45 port. The GM4-HPoE models provide up to 60W of power to access points for hot spot and metro cell applications. The GM4-HPoE NIDs are backward compatible with 802.3af and 802.3at Powered Devices.

iConverter HybridNID

The iConverter HybridNID enables the delivery of E-Access wholesale services with value-added revenue from independent SLA verification.

 

The HybridNID clearly defines the service responsibilities between the Service Provider and the Access Provider with dual management elements that support secure and independent management access. The HybridNID is availble in GM3 and GM4 configurations.
